Selena Filice joins CARREL+Partners LLP as Summer Student
CARREL+Partners LLP is excited to announce that Selena Filice has returned to the firm as a summer student, following the completion of her second year at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. She graduated from Lakehead University in 2020 with her HBA in Political Science Pre-Law with the Highest First Class Standing and the President’s Award for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Throughout her studies, she has represented and advocated for her peers in numerous positions. During her undergraduate studies, she co-founded the Lakehead University Political Science Association and throughout law school, she has gained valuable leadership experience in her positions as the President of the Women in Law Society and Co-President of the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law Golf Club.
As a law student, Selena continues to expand her legal knowledge and interests. However, she has a strong interest in constitutional law, aboriginal legal issues, and estates, and she hopes to gain more experience in these areas in the future.
Outside of the office, Selena spends her time at the golf course, the gym, and playing and coaching volleyball.
