Associate

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Jasmine received her undergraduate diploma at Lakehead University, and her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, placing on the Dean’s List and obtaining the highest mark in both Structuring Business Transactions and Family Law.

Jasmine has a range of legal experience and has worked with CARREL+Partners LLP since 2014, first joining the firm as a legal assistant to Jack Jamieson, returning each year of her legal studies as a summer student, and, after completing her degree, as an articling student.

Throughout law school, Jasmine represented her peers and advocated for their interests in numerous positions with the Queen’s Law Student’s Society. She also gained valuable experience through Queen’s Business Law Clinic as a student case worker, and through a highly competitive internship with the Department of Justice, Tax Services Sector. Jasmine also had the unique opportunity of being handpicked to be the research assistant both to the Dean of the law school, and to a professor in the area of corporate law and business transactions.

While not at the office, Jasmine can be found spending time with her family and dog (Harley), outside hunting, fishing or gardening, working on a new craft or hobby project, or reading a new book.

With this background, Jasmine is excited to continue working with CARREL+Partners LLP and put her hard-earned skills to work.
