Experience
Since 1984, Dan Newton has focused on litigation with an emphasis on injury and disability claims arising from car accidents, dangerous premises and other accidents.
He has appeared in all levels of the Ontario Court system, including the Court of Appeal, and has appeared as counsel at inquests and before administrative tribunals. He recently successfully represented a Thunder Bay resident in her case against the City of Thunder Bay at the Supreme Court of Canada.
Dan is married with two children. His interests include hiking and canoeing with family and friends.
Best advice ever received
"Never forget where you came from."
My father told me this after I graduated from law school. He was a truck driver and construction worker. This helps remind me we are dealing with real people and real problems, not just "cases."
